CADBURY Pots of Joy yoghurts have been growing in popularity after the release of the Marvellous Creations chocolate bar. Following the original Pots of Joy flavours, Cadbury decided to turn some of their most famous chocolate brands in to yoghurts and now two more have come off the production line.
With Easter right around the corner there has been nothing but Creme Egg adverts and Pots of Joy have firmly jumped on the bang wagon. As well as Creme Egg, Pots of Joy have released an equally enticing Terry’s Chocolate Orange flavour.
The most disappointing part of these yoghurts is that they are far too small. With only three and half teaspoons per pot, the tasting session is over far too prematurely and does leave you wanting more. Both yoghurts are filled with chocolate mousse and have a layer of Creme Egg or orange purée at the bottom, so make sure you blend them in.
When opening the Chocolate Orange pot, the aroma of orange is instant but the chocolate mousse creates a differing taste to what you normally get with the proper chocolate. The orange isn’t overpowering and does blend in quite nicely.
As for the Creme Egg, the mousse combined with the creme tastes more like it’s chocolate counterpart and there does seem to be more creme than there is in the orange pot. As there is more creme than chocolate in its usual form, this still isn’t overpowering and it does create a nice dessert, even if there isn’t very much of it.
