THE NEXT perfect snacking mix is out, courtesy of McVities. One of the nation’s favourite Biscuits is now available in four different bitesize varieties; Digestive Nibbles.
The Chocolate coated Biscuit bites are available in Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Caramel and Double Chocolate flavours and all come in a resealable sharing pouch which have become very popular recently. The original Milk Chocolate bites taste quite moreish and do taste like ordinary Digestives. They have the same crunch and same make-up overall but are on a much smaller level.
The Double Chocolate flavour aims to offer double the taste but unfortunately there’s no obvious change in flavour. It’s the same milk chocolate taste with a slight dark aftertaste at times. These are still as moreish but there’s not really enough going on to warrant these as Double Chocolate Nibbles.
The Caramel Nibbles have that same soft crunch that you get with standard Caramel Digestives. There is a slight Caramel flavour to them but they do miss that oozing Caramel you get in the proper biscuit. They’re still moreish and really nice but they don’t really imitate the original biscuits. The Dark Chocolate Nibbles are again similar tasting to the original Biscuits and although there’s some people who dislike Dark Chocolate, these continue to be moreish. These are great snacks to have either by yourself or shared with others and will become very popular.
