Pringles – Pizza Flavour

IT’S the return of the Pizza flavoured Pringles, but probably not as you remember them. These ‘new’ Pringles are being labelled as Limited Edition in combination with their Pringoooals branding for Euro 2016. However, Pizza Pringles were actually a big thing back in the 1990s. All the nostalgia aside, it’s actually really hard to find anything about the original Pizza Pringles apart from a few forums reminiscing about what once was, it’s almost as if they never existed.

But they did exist and back then they had a rather hot flavour to them. It wasn’t spicy but there was a slight kick to these crisps and they were pretty popular back then. These new Pizza flavoured Pringles don’t taste the same as their predecessors, instead of a slight heat there’s now a real tang to them which tastes a bit like Tomato Puree. If you like the Tomato tang then you will like these but they’re certainly not as nice as Pizza Pringles once were and these won’t be as popular which is a real shame for those looking to take a trip down memory lane. The once white can is also now orange with a Pizza circle surrounding a football.
