Muller Simply Bliss

GREEK Style Yoghurts have always been seen as a popular, somewhat upmarket and beneficial type of Yoghurt and its something that Muller have really tried cashing in on over the years. Muller’s Bliss range was released back in 2014 with a whipped Greek Style Yoghurt that gave an edge to their original Corners.

Now, Muller have released a Simply Bliss range which is a single pot Yoghurt rather than a Corner and is available in Strawberry, Lemon and Vanilla. These Yoghurts are so fluffy and thick they are almost like a Mousse with barely any liquid state to them. As far as the flavours go, there’s not really anything substantial about them. The Lemon Yoghurt is quite nice and tangy which mixes well with the creaminess of the Yoghurt whereas the Strawberry Yoghurt pretty much tastes like any other Strawberry Yoghurt. The Vanilla Yoghurt doesn’t really taste like Vanilla it’s more of a dairy lactic taste from the Yoghurt which is perhaps slightly disappointing.

Muller aren’t going to grab anyone with the flavours on offer and that’s not really the point of interest that they’re trying to exploit. Fans of Greek Style Yoghurts will quite happily enjoy these and even fans of Mousse will like them so the popularity of these will just be down to the preference of which type of Yoghurt you like eating. If you’re not too fussed about Greek Style Yoghurts and are just trying these because they’re new, you’re not really going to taste anything different and apart from the texture, there’s probably less calorific alternatives offering the same flavours out there.
