IT’S NOT often a new Fruit product comes along. That’s mainly because unless you genetically modify one, there isn’t going to be a new Fruit around. Within this area of the industry, it’s more likely that a new pairing concept or a new way of eating Fruit will be how brands keep themselves fresh and in the minds of the customers.
That’s exactly what Nature’s Finest have done with their latest 400g snacking pot. It’s a touch of the exotic with a mixture of Pineapple and Mango in Juice. The Juice is Coconut flavoured and although it says a hint on the packaging, the Coconut is actually quite strong and neutralises the tang from both the Mango and, more so, the Pineapple. It is a nice combination and you obviously know what you’re going to get from the Fruits involved. The Juice also softens the Pineapple which means you don’t that tangy, soft crunch that you normally would.
As a Fruit pot, this product is quite versatile. You can have it as a snack pot and just have the Fruit, leaving about a quarter of a pot of Juice. Or you can use it as a dessert and pour the contents over a Cake or Tart. Either way, this is a nice new combination from Nature’s Finest especially for those who like their exotic Fruit.
