SNACKING Biscuits or Crackers are always very popular ever since the Mini Cheddar or packets of Mini Ritz biscuits. They can be quite versatile with some using them as a snack pack or a lunch item, some buttering them to add a little extra flavour and some even top them with Cheese or Pate for a little finger sandwich.
However you use them, it’s safe to say that they are always enjoyable if not a little moreish. One of the biggest names in Cheese has now decided to give their Snacking Biscuit a sharing option with these new Cathedral City Baked Bites in a box. They are already available in smaller packets in a six-pack and this new box pack easily fills a bowl for sharing. They’re rectangular in shape with a curved top edge which is reminiscent of the old Digestive Cracker which imitated the shape of a loaf of Bread.
If you are one of those who butters these Snacking Biscuits to prevent any dryness and add extra flavour, you probably won’t need to with these. They have that dark baked taste to them but the added Cheese flavouring stops the darkness from being a dry baked taste. They’re probably not as creamy or moreish as a Mini Ritz as they’re not really salty or have that glazed-style touch to them. But these will definitely go quickly in any household and will continue to be a very popular Snacking Biscuit.
